Visit California is a nonprofit organization with a mission to develop and maintain marketing programs that inspire travel to California. Their job is to get people excited to visit the Golden State and support its many accommodations, attractions, rental cars, restaurants, retailers and transportation businesses.

The pandemic had a severe impact on California's tourism industry. To spur recovery and appeal to consumers looking to book their next dream vacation, Visit California created their “Am I Dreaming” campaign, which launched on Super Bowl Sunday with a whimsical, celebrity-studded TV ad.

In a digital age where user experience is paramount, General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) recognized the need for a fresh and inviting approach to represent their services on their website. GDIT sought to diversify its online presence, moving away from traditional military and IT visuals in favour of a more approachable and dynamic imagery. The mission was to create 2 home pages that would not only engage visitors but also exemplify GDIT's mantra, "The Art of the Possible."

The foundation of this project was laid with meticulous UX/UI design in Figma. We embraced the challenge of making the website user-friendly while ensuring it communicated GDIT's values. We worked hand in hand, crafting a seamless navigation experience, a clean layout, and eye-catching visuals and statistics.

After finalizing the design concepts, it was time to inject life into the project. This is where Adobe After Effects came into play. We took the static visuals and made them dynamic, capturing the essence of motion and interactivity. Our animation work was aimed at demonstrating how the website would come alive once in production.
